What are competent persons?

The law states that “Every employer shall, subject to paragraphs (6) and (7), appoint one or more competent persons to assist him in undertaking the measures they need to take and comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon them by or under the relevant statutory provisions.

You will be able to name us as your competent Health and Safety Advisor for your organisations accreditation's (such as CHAS and Constructionline) and to satisfy the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
